EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! Whoaaa so it seems like the rumors are legitimate! Are you ready for the Canon 5Ds?
A photograph (above) of the not yet announced Canon 5Ds full frame DSLR camera is at large and is now floating around cyberspace. The leaked photograph of the high-resolution 50.6MP camera and specifications was first published by a Japanese Camera site and has since gone viral.
The camera will feature a new sensor with modest increase in resolution and ISO range (100 to 6400). Another exciting feature is reportedly 1.3x and 1.6x crop modes that allow you to only use a portion of the full frame sensor for lower-resolution photographs.
Other specifications cited are a weatherproof magnesium alloy body, dual processor DIGIC6, 5FPS continuous shooting, 61 autofocus points, EOS iTR AF, 150,000 pixel RGB/IR photometry sensor, a 100% field of view viewfinder, an electronic level and an external microphone terminal. Also, when the upcoming Canon was leaked one of the features that was noticeably missing was the 4K video recording. Apparently it’ll be a high-resolution, photo-centric DSLR that can capture 1920×1080 video at 30fps.
